What is the Normalised Speed Rating (NSR)?

NSR is a standardised performance metric that accounts for going, track, and distance variation — allowing fair comparison of runs across different conditions. Higher is better.

What is the Fair Odds Line?

The Fair Odds Line is a model-derived probability for each horse in a race, converted into decimal odds. It represents our assessment of each runner's chance of winning based on proprietary ratings — not the bookmaker's margin-adjusted price.

How do I use the Adjust Baseline & Overrides section?

The Adjust Baseline section lets you manually set a horse's baseline speed rating if you believe the automatic selection (best 3 from recent runs) should be adjusted. You can also mark horses as scratched. A tutorial video is available on the Ashwa Guru YouTube channel.
